Workshop covering key elements in pension’s administration in order to identify good practices whilst also identifying current legal and regulatory developments. Talks included those by the Scheme Advisory Board, Pensions Regulator and various legal, data and procurement experts who shared their knowledge on benchmarking and resources. The event was aimed at Pensions Managers, Admin Officers and also those with a wider interest in the governance of the LGPS with a major emphasis placed on record keeping and the responsibility of schemes and funds. Other issues covered: procurement issues around selecting systems and the contract management aspects of outsourced services.
